An intimate whisky and cocktail bar hidden away upstairs at angel hotel.
Walk through angel hotel, take the stairs to level two and you’ve found them. Discreetly tucked away, their dimly lit whisky den harks back to its fashionable past with rich velvet and haberdashery cabinets. (John and Merivale Hemmes originally had an iconic fashion retail space here in the sixties and seventies and J&M pays tribute to them.) There’s exclusive whisky available there (part of an extended list) that you won’t find anywhere else, as well as specially crafted cocktails.
