Commissioning Engineer/Technician

An exciting position has become available for an experienced Commissioning Engineer/Technician to join our Sydney team.

Along with being the leader in an innovative industry we also hold training workshops across Australia throughout the year for Dynalite commissioning to meet the demands of this rapidly growing industry and a dedicated R&D and Tech Support team at our Head Office Sydney.

About the role

You will be responsible for the following tasks and duties:

Service and commission lighting control systems.

Project manage and successfully deliver the commissioning process from small to major projects and ongoing service work.

Oversee the installation and maintenance of lighting control products to ensure their efficient performance.

Provide contractors with technical advice and service on the use and application of lighting control products.

Promote the sale of lighting control products to existing and potential customers

Reporting of in field service issues and providing regular feedback of information regarding commissioning, services, and opportunities

Populating and delivering commissioning reports on completion of project.

Skills and experience

You will be a motivated individual with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines with a sense of urgency. A high attention to detail will also be second nature to you. 

Licensed electrician desirable, exposure to the electrical field or experience with integration, automation, or Programmable Logic Controllers.

Electrical fundamentals, fault finding skills, strong communication skills, problem solving, ability to handle and manage pressure, customer service standards, strong work ethic.
